Acquisition to Closeout
Federal agencies are
in need of timely, effective procurement operations support. GCS’ procurement
team is available to assist acquisition executives in every step of the
process. We provide assistance in the following:
Contingency Contracting
Whether an
agency needs acquisition and contracts support after a domestic emergency
or disaster, regional conflict or military operation, GCS is poised to
provide that support “just in time”.
Our staff has the requisite experience and business maturity to assist
customers throughout these challenging events when there is often an
immediate risk to human life and/or national interests.
Performance Based Contracting
In 2004,
OFPP encouraged agencies to apply Performance Based Service Acquisition
(PBSA) methods to an ever increasing number of services actions over
$25,000 to include contracts, task orders, modifications and options.
The contract professionals at GCS understand OFPP’s goals. We work
with acquisition organizations to determine the most appropriate performance
based work, assist both contracts and program office staff in developing
realistic performance based standards, help in monitoring progress and
report development to OFPP.
Program Office Liaison
GCS provides assistance to Federal
program offices as they move through the acquisition process, from pre-
to post-award. We assist program staff through the entire procurement
process, from acquisition planning, technical requirements definition,
and source selection to the all important post-award acquisition support
including Delivery/Task Order support.
